in my take-home pay when the idiotic reduction in the payroll tax went into effect. And no, it's not because I make so incredibly much that I go over it on the first paycheck. It might well be because my exact hours of work often vary from paycheck to paycheck, so that the variation is always more than the decrease, and now the increase, in FICA.
