(112,920 posts)12. You came to the wrong conclusion - I don't want Kerry as SoS. He'd be the best for the job, but,
I prefer he keep EVERYONE in check, including hawks serving the WH, the hawks at State Dept, and the hawks at DoD, as top senator for Foreign Policy.
I highly doubt Clinton wants Kerry as SoS, either. She would want to be replaced by someone who is more in her hawkish mode and who will be more likely to continue her policies.
