Not just Apple. Foxconn makes things for hp, Dell, Samsung, Toshiba, etc. It's stinks, but it's been that way for decades. It started out with TV's and stereos made in Japan. As for sweat shop labor making clothes, frankly those were shitty jobs when they were here. They were piece work, usually in the south or rural areas and paid minimum wage or lower. Buy a white t-shirt from American Apparel and pay $22. Buy a 5 pack of Hanes made overseas for $18.50. The cure is not to bring those shitty jobs back to the US. It's for the Chinese to stand up, organize and demand to be treated decently and paid fair wages. They're about a hundred years behind us in that regard. But it will turn around, with time. But we are dreaming if we think things like clothing manufacturing are coming back to the US.
