4. I don't tell my husband how to vote and he doesn't tell me. We usually cancel each other out.

HOWEVER, I am making small breakthroughs with him. He kept belittling the war on women by the GOP until today. He made a flip comment while watching Hannity and I'd had enough. I sat him down and showed him online the legislation being brought up in several states. Also, his understanding of Blunt-Rubio was wrong. Prior to today, he thought I was over reacting...not any longer. He firmly belives that health decisions for everyone are between the patient and doctor and he's totally against what his party is doing. He has a wife, a mother, and two sisters. He's now just as upset about it all as I am. He said, "Really? That's just not right." You should have seen his face when I educated him on the word "transvaginal".

So all I'm saing is try to convert people with education, not with punishment, kwim? Little by little, issue by issue, I'm showing my husband that his main news source, Fox News, is usually a bunch of crap. Once someone opens their eyes and sees they're being lied to, they get mad - and that's how you convert.
