2016 Postmortem

(7,963 posts)40. You clearly did not read my post otherwise you would not have asked me that.
I never stated the emails did not show preference. People have biases and that is human nature. As long as the chair of the DNC did not act on her preferences, she did nothing wrong. Instead, she was tried in the court of public opinion complete with pitchforks and fire. She is gone. You can go celebrate. I won't stand in your way.
The gist of my post is about the tie of the Russian influence into our election. THAT is far more disconcerting. And I was told that it did not exist, that I was crazy. That it doesn't matter. But it DOES. It matters A LOT. It gives us context and motive. But for many here, it is not about getting the big picture. I get it.

They're just jealous. Don't have their own real election to interfere with at home, so steal ours.

Yes, write the novel. Opening scene in the sauna with Russian handlers @ N.Y. Athletic Club.

What forensic evidence? And how does it point toward Russian intelligence?

Does any of this negate the fact that the DNC was trying to manipulate the election?

No, it doesn't negate the corruption, but in my mind, it's also a valid question.

The way of the guilty is devious, but the conduct of the innocent is upright.

Am I interpreting you correctly - that you suspect Trump & GOP operatives, rather than the Ruskies?
