40. Just my experience this morning

Nov 2012

My family and I were voted this morning in Arlington, VA. The line was much longer than 2008 and appeared very Pres. Obama friendly (lots of cars in the lot with stickers and such). As we walked up to the school, a very irate GOP poll watcher was complaining to a neighborhood GOP person that the election officials made him take his notebook that was totally covered in R$/Lyin/NObama stickers outside. We waited in line (35 minutes) and were ready to vote. We noticed that the same GOP poll watcher was being told that he now had to take outside his very obvious GOP folder outside too. We stopped at the bake sale the school always has and the neighborhood GOP person said of the GOP poll watcher, "He is not from around here and is a bit of an a$$hole." I am hoping Virginia stays True Blue today.
