(13,408 posts)They are vastly outnumbered judging by any poll and the number of recs given to threads.
They have to deal with nasty, unfounded accusations related to a never-gonna-happen indictment.
They are constantly accused of cheating, election rigging, fraud and you name it even though they are just as affected by election irregularities as Bernie supporters - maybe even more so seeing as how they are overwhelmingly Democrats and Bernie supporters are split between Democrats, Independents and other parties with more of the primaries being closed than open.
They have to deal with incessant assaults on the character of their candidate - a candidate who has been a Democrat for decades unlike the Democrat for a year Sanders. Not only that, many of them take umbrage at the character assaults given the poor sportsmanship displayed by Bernie's supporters who refuse to lose graciously, even though the campaign has effectively been over for weeks.
Then there is the hypocrisy they have encountered by first hearing that superdelgates are undemocratic, unfair and should be eliminated (which I agree they should) but then only have to the Bernie supporters embrace the SDs like BFFs because they need them for a Hail Mary.
Hillary supporters welcome the Bernie supporters to extol the virtues of their candidate and engage in a friendly debate of the issues without the personal attacks. Unfortunately, the debate devolved into the sewer it is a long time ago.
Fortunately, all of this ends in less than two weeks officially on DU and probably even sooner given the events of this coming Tuesday.
