to request a ballot by mail. We had an election a little while back and my husband and I received a notice in the mail then that we would have to vote by mail for that election as there was not going to be a local polling station in our area. I thought that this was strange and I was going to follow up on it to see if this was a one time only thing or was this going to be permanent, and I forgot, since after all, I don't live on the moon or some otherwise remote location. Your email reminded me that I needed to follow up on that letter we received. FTR, I don't like voting by mail. I want to know that my vote goes in the voting box and gets counted on that day, and not treated as some provisional ballot.
