(80,708 posts)If you ask me, it's been discussed into the ground, and I'm sure it will continue to be discussed.
Compare that to, for example, the domestic issue of marijuana legalization- no small matter, given that-
it ties into our huge rates of incarceration of non-violent drug users and the fact that four states have legalized for recreational use, and
more states, like California, are likely to in November, and
given that fact it will likely be a factor in motivating young voters to the polls, AND
the inescapable fact that already-legal CO is a crucial electoral swing state;
so given all that, why do you suppose it is that we haven't gotten one single concise answer from Hillary during ANY of the debates on that particular issue, in fact when questioned about it she invariably clumsily changes the subject to Heroin addiction?

We've had scads of discussion on foreign policy. Whether we needed this conversation to be fully 50% foreign policy (and another 20% inane spatting over the definition of labels like "progressive", which does diddly shit for the American people and their concerns) I think is a different and very valid question.
