They run a moderate, lose badly, think it's because they needed a Gingrich or Santorum firebreather in there and they run them in 2016 against Hillary leading to an even worse loss than 2012. Combined with the demographic trends which are killing them, we can stomp out the conservative disease for a loooooong time..
