Chris Murphy needs our help (Connecticut Senate race) [View all]
He was my Representative since 2006. He is a progressive and has great stances on women's rights, gay rights, health care, and the environment. He is also just an all around good guy, very down to earth and met regularly with people in my district. He has much less money then McMahon. He is younger then her, less well known to the rest of the state. She is famous here because of the WWE. She is a multimillionaire. She does not have terrible social policy views (this is CT after all) but she does have terrible economic policy views and would be horrible for Connecticut. And after putting up with Lieberman for all those years, I really want a true liberal Dem as my other Senator. McMahon lost in 2010 to Richard Blumenthal, a Democrat. I really want to make it 2 for 2.
