Not the best way to have an intelligent conversation. I have no problem ridiculing an individual for his actions, but religious beliefs are extremely personal and, as such, deserve respect, if not agreement. There is a cruel element to ridicule and it behooves us to use it sparingly. Speaking from personal experience, ridicule may feel good when delivered, but can leave a bitter after taste, especially when it has no merit.
