I hesitate to even post articles like this one anymore because there's usually only two responses: dead silence from those who are well aware of the truth but are afraid to criticize the church, or a flaming for speaking out. Even when the subject deals with the misogyny of the church the only place I truly feel safe posting articles like this is at the Women's Rights & Issues group.
