4. They splice the genes into plants with high nitrogen demand and it works

they will undoubtedly patent the seed. Getting it to work properly will be the problem.

They have known about nitrogen fixing bacteria in soil forever, I used to add it when I grew legumes. Harvesting it out of the air is what's really unique, along with providing it with a growth medium.
