died from Covid-19. While he was in the hospital they told him he had diabetes which he had no idea he had. Maybe it was a result of the virus then.
I also saw that some researchers are looking into metabolic syndrome as being a risk factor. It makes sense as it seems to cover the trifecta of the virus - high blood pressure, insulin resistance, and heavy weight.
