Four candidates. West would need 26% of the vote at the least to win.

About half of registered voters come out to vote, maybe a little less for primaries. That's 12% or less for West to win.

Missouri is an open primary state where Democrats and Republicans can cross party lines to vote. But I can't see a Democrat in MO crossing over to vote for a Nazi, even strategically. So divide the 12% by half, to West getting 6% of the vote.

If the other republican candidates (and the state party) doesn't support Steve West and the Democrats do a good job campaigning, Missouri (and the rest of the country) may dodge this potential danger.
