6. Yep. The look of terror on Urban Meyers' face as he watched Bama drub ND was interesting

especially since he used to coach in the SEC. Before the game, he was saying that he'd rather be on the field coaching, but after the game, he looked scared. When asked after the game what Kelly should do, Meyer said to start making phone calls and recruit harder. Now we know what he will do.

Kelly has the #1 recruiting class coming this Fall, so Kelly is way ahead of Meyer on that issue.

Before the game, I suspected Kelly knew that ND was outmatched. He looked calm and relieved that the game was finally going to start. I don't think that the Div II schools have to wait a month and a half to play their championship game and of course, they don't get the media attention the Div I game gets. Kelly told the ESPN analyst the obvious, if ND can stop Bama's run game, then they had a chance, if not it was going to be a long night. The experience at a title game is something that you can't coach or prep a team for. The Experience for the returning players is the teacher in this game. I don't think Kelly would trade the experience in this title game, painful as it was, for an "easy" win at another BCS bowl game. The players will learn more from this loss and experience at the title game than anything Kelly can devise at practice.
