The car thief gets out and steals cars again, maybe does a hit-and-run.

The home invader gets out and invades more homes.

The insider trader gets out and commits more white collar crime.

Guess what, recidivism rates are high, criminals tend to stay criminal.

This guys needs to be in jail for a very long time, instead of going through a revolving door system where non-violent drug users are in for decades and people like him are let out early due to overcrowding.
