depending on what gun I am carrying but I almost exclusively use Federal Hydra Shoks in bullet weights matched to the caliber. Maximum stopping power with far less chance of over penetration.

.380 95gr Hydra Shoks
9mm 147gr Hydra Shoks
.45ACP 230gr Hydra Shoks
