23. Toy guns? Really? Show me the toy guns.

There is nothing in these baskets that even remotely passes for a "gun". In fact, it's virtually impossible to go to a toy store and buy your kid a toy gun anymore. I tried to find some toy guns for my 3-year-old boy last Christmas and gave up - there was nothing in the big-box toy stores or Walmart or anyplace else that looked like a real gun. Unless you count these garish "cowboy" guns with bright orange muzzle plugs as real-looking:



Everything has been fantasticized to the point of lunacy. About the closest to a real-looking toy gun I found was a Star Wars stormtrooper blaster rifle.

I figure next year I'll get him some Airsoft guns, minus the BBs.
