The solution to bad judicial decisions is better laws. If the constitution needs amending, amend it. The myth of "judge made law" is a pile of crap that the GOP uses to demonize the judiciary and the continuing progress in the law. But the judiciary is not the top of the pyramid, it's just a link in a cycle.
