3. A courageous attack on a military base...

Soon afterwards, the idea of only striking military targets would become a thing of the romantic past.

Surprising still to me that it is spoken of as such a shameful act considering that the Japanese only after military targets.

Surely not as inhuman of an act as the firebombing of Tokyo or the dropping of two nuclear devices on civilian populations.
