I initially started with California Naturals, but when they stopped making the canned, she gave me a list of suggestions - and I went with Wellness since it's not tough to find and my dog really likes it. There are 3 varieties, chicken, turkey and beef and he seems to like all 3, plus it's highly rated from what I've read. Plus, he's doing very well on it and my dog is 14. 
P.S. And I almost forgot, it's chicken and broccoli, turkey and spinach and beef with carrots. My dog is also small, he's a Brussels Griffon.
