Many years ago (1970's) when we lived in Anchorage, we used to drive down to Seward to have fresh halibut cheeks. Rainbow trout is good too, in fact most fish is tasty provided it is cooked properly and the fresher, the better.

We are now fans of the wild caught Gulf shrimp sold at Fiesta store in Dallas. It has never been frozen and it makes a big difference.
