The end of the book is a lot more ambiguous about the fate of June than I think the series will be.

The second novel is three narratives: Aunt Lydia and June's two daughters. Which is cool because one is an inside narrative and one outside. Plus I am only 50 pages in and Aunt Lydia's character is going to run deep.
