(135,425 posts)35. Well, it's pushback against the "Why is that girlfriend-beater allowed back in the public eye?"
complaints.
This isn't coming out of the blue--the conversation ahead of this has been "Ewwww; who wants to hear or see that creep on a family program? What kind of message is this sending to young children, that a guy who did such a heinous thing is lionized on TV and suffered so few consequences for his ungentlemanly and violent behavior?"
A publicist would take that trash and try to turn it into treasure. I'm not sure this is the best way to go about it, but I have been surprised before at the sensibilities and priorities of the younger generations.

We only have 2 PBS stations I can get. One is out of Nashville and the other out of Cookevlle.
