Downthread, William expressed a lot of what I am thinking.

And if you look today, there is a thread about Graham entitled "The Daily Vapors", and DU'ers laughing about it and the mention in the article about his "fainting couch"

This is homophobia, and sexist, in my opinion -
1) being effeminate means you are gay (which is not true),
2) being effeminate is somehow wrong and worthy of ridicule.
