8. Minnesota is strange.

Our churches, for the most part are welcoming to everyone. But, the official Catholic Church here has a real problem, and it is hurting both the people they exclude and the church itself. They're still trying to figure out why the anti-marriage equality amendment that was supported by the Minnesota archdiocese was turned down by the voters. Instead of making changes in their thinking, they're doubling down.

It is a shame on them. Meanwhile, ELCA churches throughout Minnesota welcome LGBT Minnesotans. They will grow, while the Roman Catholic Church shrivels and dries up.
