2. Their rationale that "it's failing anyway" is disingenuous for three reasons:

1) They did everything they could to weaken the ACA back when it was being created (despite their lies to the contrary, they WERE involved in the crafting process, and yet they still refused to vote for it, just on principle)

2) They know there are ways to improve the current ACA law, but are too stubborn/stupid/spiteful to do that

3) They refuse to admit that the ACA works very well for millions of people, despite those very same people screaming it from the rooftops at them.

So they pretend that the only way to "save Americans from this devastating failure" is to repeal it entirely. It's like saying "I see you have a treatable medical condition, so we're recommending you jump off a cliff".
