and yes, I hear you re: the gun issue.

I don't think anyone should have a gun around if they are depressed or if they have others in the household that are having similar or other psychological/psychiatric problems. Also, this applies to having children in the house as well.

No matter how well Daddy hides his piece, that kid will always find that gun if it wants to do so.

I was a kid at one time too and I could always find things "hidden" from me.

As for the rest of it, I'm not sure that it would be so much a woman v. a man issue.

If it were me that this happened to, I'd be the one to take it hard as I am and always have been the main supporter of this household. My husband never really latched on to a good job of any sorts and now he is on SS. He receives a whopping $450.00 a month and is a veteran, something that I believe scarred him for life, hence the fact that he never got a great job. I think he has PTSD by don't tell any one about it.

So sick of this "generation" that never wants to "talk" about "things". They just crumble away in the corner while people like myself carry the load for them if they are lucky enough to find an idiot like me to do it for them.

I'm doing God's work some say.

I say fuck that and give the person what they need to live on instead of having to hope to hell that they don't end up with zero in the end which is indeed my own fear.
