Do you have any other source for a tv input? Do you have another tv you could plug the roku into?

Most tv's have a menu for adjusting stuff. Unplug the roku and see if you can just use the tv remote (or if the tv has buttons for controlling it alternatively use those) to see if the tv works at all on its own.
