1. GRAND OPENING POSTPONED!

Our grand reopening of Coffee Strong set for this Saturday, February 2nd, has been postponed due to permitting issues with the City of Lakewood. On behalf of everyone at GI Voice, please accept my apology for this late change. We’ve been eagerly looking forward to this opening since our Board of Directors first put this date on our calendar back in December. However, in order to expedite resolution of this dispute with the city, we have decided to postpone the opening.

We are working to resolve this dispute as soon as possible, and will be in touch when we have a firm opening date and celebration. Thank you for your support of GI Voice over the past year, and we look forward to celebrating our reopening with you soon. P.S. – We’re moving full speed ahead to be ready for our reopening. Over the past month we’ve been holding weekly volunteer trainings on topics ranging from suicide prevention to supporting service members seeking a way out of the military. We’ve also participated in a counter recruitment training and have supported efforts by Seattle area peace and justice groups to help cut war spending.
