(51,907 posts)On December 2nd, the Daily Journal of Commerce broke the news that Walmart will be an anchor tenant of the new Kelsey Creek Shopping Center in Bellevue. The article describes the Center as "... a pleasant, attractive place to shop". What the Daily Journal of Commerce does not mention is Walmart's predatory business model: poverty wage, part-time jobs lacking health benefits and respect for workers.
Please join the "Making Change at Walmart- Puget Sound" coalition as we send a message to Walmart: any job is not good enough. We demand good jobs, respect for workers, and respect for our communities!
