In fact, I would prefer it so as to avoid follow-up invoicing and payment.

However, my insurance and providers have gotten away from this model because the insurance is so convoluted that it is almost impossible to tell what my share will be until after it has been submitted for payment. It is like a slot machine because once it goes in for payment, I never know what is going to come up.
