and as usual, when you're in the city, you trade stories about the rehabbing of one's home etc., stories about the neighborhood, etc.

Nothing at all like these two that were pointing guns at people. If anything, this is a stupid and dangerous way to handle a bunch of people walking by on the sidewalks (point guns at them). They should have been arrested already, and charged w/ threatening bystanders w/ harm. I do feel this seriously, being that this happened on a damn sidewalk, that's open to all. What if I was walking w/ kids or something? What if someone had a party on their street? This does happen, as I've been to several parties over in that neighborhood.

Their actions are at the height of ignorance and very poor judgment, and I seriously hope that the city's attorney general charges these two idiots w/ at least some kind of reckless behavior charges or something, which is exactly what they did. The city has enough gun crimes as it does (as a lot of big cities do), and they need to clamp down on these self proclaimed vigilantes ... why didn't they call the police? Never in my 40+ years in STLMO have I heard of someone doing this unilaterally, it's actually very stupid and invites all kinds of undesired crap to happen.
