The "bargaining" by the company is bullshit aimed at putting the union in an impossible position so that Libbey can blame the union when the layoffs take place. I'm sorry for the workers there. Probably whole operation will be closed eventually.

The race to the bottom continues with no help in sight. Actually, it will get worse when the Transpacific Partnership trade agreement gets passed as there will be more slave wage countries for the American worker to compete against.
