...waistband. No one but the police or someone acting like the police ever use that word because the truth is that generally speaking you cannot just run with a gun tucked into your pants. Most guns are too big to be a pocket and getting something out of your pocket like that is not easy. Most criminals aren't using holsters. It is a word that is used to justify shooting someone before you actually see a gun. I hate that word.
