Drive a little farther south and have lunch at Napenthe in Big Sur. pretty fucking special.

And, just so you know, we used to drive down to Napenthe for lunch from downtown San Jose. It was a day trip, not a major excursion.

Where are you coming from, BTW?

The biggest problem is that there is simply soooo much to see that you almost have to live there for awhile to see even some of it. Lucky me, I spent about 40 of my 61 years there so I got a decent overview.
