I went to a "Wings & Wheels" show this afternoon at a local field. I saw planes I never thought I'd ever see close up, including an awesome Cessna 195 (aren't they all?). There were 140s and homebuilts alongside Skyhawks and every type of Cub imaginable, including a rare "Carbon Cub". All this for a $5 donation to the Animal Welfare League (I gave $10).

They were taking off two at a time and buzzing the field all along a grass runway lined with cool cars. A blues rock band played throughout the afternoon.
