M*A*S*H, of course. The X-Files mailed it in after a while, and many promising storylines just never got to a payoff. From what I've heard, Lost should have stayed that way, as the writers sort of wandered off into la-la land (the perils of listening to the fanboi contingent). Sad to say it, but News Radio should have folded up shop after Phil Hartman was murdered.
