Like when I would call Republicans fascists and shit, there was always a little honest part of me that knew I was exaggerating certain things. You know? I adamantly opposed them on practically all the basic issues but I didn't think they were honest to gods, full on ready to start the Fourth fucking Reich crazy people. Not like this.

But they really are. Friends and family of mine are really fervent supporters of the worst of this. The ugliness and hatred I see from people who never expressed any political position before this Тяцмр travesty has been very disappointing and not a little shocking. People I really thought were cool buy right into the racial defense mode crap with little prodding. I'm afraid this could get ugly, in real life.
