Shots and vet visits were a couple hundred a year at most. He ate whatever food I put in front of him.

But now he has hyperthyroidism, so is on medication, which costs $75 every three months or so, but he has been to the vet 6 times in the last 6 months, to have his blood tested. Now he has kidney issues so is on some expensive food. I guess the total us a couple grand a year now. But he is 16 and is otherwise in good shape. A bit skinny, but playful and affectionate.
