Hi everybody,
I just got off the phone with Debbie and she is at the ER with her husband Rich.
They have got her hooked up to cardiac monitor and have started the usual battery of tests, blood draws and x-rays.
I will keep you posted to whatever degree she feels necessary and lets all send healing energy, prayers, vibes her way to aid her in this time. I told her to behave and to do what the doctors tell her as she already wants to go home.
Hugs to all of you from Debbie and as I asked, pease send yours back.
Love,
John
I'm taking the liberty of thanking you all on behalf of Debbie
I've bookmarked this post so I will send her the link as soon as practicable.
I just got off the phone with Debbies' husband Rich.
Debbie is stable and she is being admitted as she has the beginnings of pneumonia among other things.
They will do an Echocardiogram (likely in the morning) She is resting comfortably and her issues are being treated.
Hi everyone,
A Final update for the evening.
Debbie is on the phone with me as I type. She is at AHN-Jefferson Hospital
Rich just left to go home and take care of the dog. Debbie was diagnosed with CHF (Congestive Heart Failure)
and is being treated with Lasix because they found fluid in her lungs. She is having a Echocardiogram in the morning.
Debbie says hi to everyone and a huge thank you for the prayers, well wishes and healing thoughts. Debbie also is sending a group hug along with her gratitude.
If everything goes well overnight and the cardiogram is reasonable she says she will be able to go home tomorrow. (Fingers crossed)
Update IV
Good morning everyone, I'm on the phone with Debbie. She sounds great and says hi to everybody. She will be staying at least one more night as they found " a blood clot". (not sure where specifically). As a result, they have ordered a more thorough full body type scan to see if this is a isolated issue or more prevalent. They have started her on 2 different anti-coagulants to prevent further clots.
They have removed the oxygen by canula because her levels are back to normal. Debbie started crying when I told her how many of you have responded with this outpouring of love and support. She is truly humbled.
Debbie keeps saying thank you and wishes she was back with us all. Rich is on the way to the hospital and will likely spend the day. The swelling has gone down some so now like most hospital patients, she just wants some rest as they pestered her all night lol.
I will update later in the day as developments warrant.
Debbie sends her love and thanks to all of us.
Hi everybody,
A quick hi from Debbie. She's undergone some further tests as her oxygen levels keep dropping when they take O2 away so they are looking for answers. She had a chest CT with and without contrast this afternoon along with a full set of 360 degree x-rays of her chest area.
They are expecting to release Debbie tomorrow unless her O2 levels stay bad as the other issues that she arrived with are under control. (fingers crossed). Debbie is dying to be on DU with her real family and can't wait to get home.
She keeps telling me how amazed she is at all the love and support you are giving her. Since I don't know how to do group hugs and stuff, she is telling just to write Group Hug. Love Debbie
Thank you everyone for your patience with me (John)
Hopefully, this will be the last update needed before Debbie gets discharged tomorrow.
With love from Debbie, Good night.
