Anyone else planning an eclipse expedition for April 8? [View all]

I thought it was probably too late, but I was able to book a campsite at Lake Buchanan near Austin, TX, right in the middle of the totality path. It's a 12-hour drive (which is why it took me so long to decide to go), but it'll be worth it! I've seen several partial eclipses but never a total one -- the one chance I had, it was cloudy. For the partial eclipse last year, I got a solar filter for my DSLR, and I have a wind-up star tracker (which I didn't think to use for that eclipse), so I'm going to try to shoot a time-lapse.
