Very glad this good boy got his second chance.

Auction horses are usually pretty sad once they get to this point. Like this woman said, a lot of times its because people can no longer take care of them, or just don't care. There are some good rescue organizations out there that will go to the auctions and save as many as they can, but there's just not enough rescues--just like dogs and cats. Unfortunately, too many auction horses end up getting shipped to Mexico or Canada for the meat trade.

This horse was one of the lucky ones.
