I know you must still grieve your mare.

Your new horse is one of the most handsome gents. He should win prizes just for showing up. Hope you'll post some pics of him.


Just today we learned that our neighbors lost their beloved old golden who was a good friend of our Missy. I'm sitting here still wiping tears for dear Duke. Duke's owner said he's shed far more tears for Duke than he has for any family member. I can identify; our Missy showed us far more compassion & affection than any family member ever has**. Yes, so often our critters give us more than family members do.


** Was referring to birth family here, not my immediate family - hubby & son have been most compassionate.
