definitely tops my list of Political/Historical Documentary which really is an entirely different category:

also American Experience LBJ is a fascinating look at one of the most complicated Presidents in History-you love and hate him. I love JFK and Clinton but their President's series aren't half as good as LBJ

can't go wrong with Huey Long either although parts are flawed

Most underrated is American Experience George Wallace-Setting the Woods on Fire--if you want to understand the genesis of Trump watch this. Trump just patterned himself after Wallace

I just realized all 3 of these guys have a common denominator-all are deeply complex with contradicting and evolving political personalities
