And the final time, he was shaking when Diane picked him up from the cargo terminal...where she arrived 15 minutes before they were going to close it for the night.

Really, the only option is to drive. He's good in the car, but half an hour or an hour isn't the same as long day after long day. I stay home with him and she travels, or vice versa. He's 13 now, and we don't like to put him through too much.
