6. I am pro-vaccine but not pro over-vaccinating. IMO a tetanus shot is not necessary until an injury

with a high risk of infection occurs. Such a shot can be given at any time, unlike a rabies shot which doesn't do you any good if you've already been bitten by a rabid animal.
