But people on the windward side do not get forecasts for 'snow' anyway.

For us here in the leeward side it don't matter..

Those of us who live in the Rochester/Buffalo Finger Lakes area KNOW not to try to drive past Batavia on the NYS Thruway during a snow storm !!
